NEW INFO: Triple Shooting In Jacksonville

Police have released more information on Sunday's shooting in Jacksonville that wounded three men.

One of those victims, Enation Roney remains in critical condition at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

The shooting happened outside the Las Maracas Restaurant on Lejeune Bouelvard. Jonni Aidoo and Christian Onate, both of Jacksonville, have been released from the hospital.

Police say witnesses tell them a verbal argument between the three victims and another group of customers escalated into a fight. The fight was broken up, and the victims left the restaurant. Police say in the parking lot, one of those in the fight got a gun and shot the men. That gunman left in a large black SUV.

Jacksonville Police are investigating a triple shooting. Detectives say three people were shot outside the Las Maracas Restaurant at 1439 Lejeune Blvd. around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

Two of the three victims were transported to Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, police say. One of those two has already been released, while the other is listed in fair condition. Police say the third shooting victim was treated at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville and released.

Witnesses told detectives that the three victims got into a fight with another group of people inside Las Maracas. Police say the suspect got a weapon from his car and shot the three victims in the parking lot. The suspect fled the scene in what police describe as a large black SUV.

Neither the names of the victims nor the suspected shooter have been released.

    You men kill me, knuckle up, everybody is in such a hurry to shoot and kill. Speechs to the character of men these days. Arguements are not worth dieing over nor looking over your shoulder for either.

    Mud, your correct, but come on man, its all about the free stuff that we'e going to get from the government. A couple of Vato's shooting at each other aint nothing man. It's like taking out the trash, happens every day, but nobody notices.

    No one cares about a shooting.....People are more interested in banning tobacco and getting free "govment" checks and healthcare than who got shot and why violence is on the increase. I mean smoke a ciggarette it may kill you in 20-30 years but that guy there with a glock........ no worries he is no immeadiate threat...
