More charges have been filed against three armed robbery suspects in Onslow County.
Deputies say they responded to the armed robbery call on Hall Point Rd. in Sneads Ferry late Wednesday afternoon. Lawmen say they soon found three suspects in their vehicle in Holly Ridge. However, the three gave chase to lawmen. The pursuit ended when an Onslow County deputy used stop sticks to stop the car. The three then ran from the car, lawmen say, but they were quickly arrested.
25-year-old Eric Clinesmith of Chadwick Acres Rd. in Sneads Ferry, 24-year-old Julius Harrison of White Oak Blvd. in Jacksonville, and 22-year old Joshua James Kinney pf Chariot Ln. in Maysville were arrested.
Each face one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit a felony and resisting a public officer. Their bonds are all set above $100,000.
They are also each now charged with one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of possession of a stolen firearm.
In addition, Kinney also now faces charges of possession of stolen goods.
Harrison now faces additional charges from an unrelated crime of creating counterfeit controlled substances, possessing with intent to distribute counterfeit controlled substances and felony conspiracy.
