One organization in the east needs your donations to make the holidays a little brighter this year for some families.
Onslow Christmas Cheer in Jacksonville accepted applications for assistance for the final time Thursday.
The organization helps needy children and their families with donations from the community.
Thousands of toys have been donated, but they still need your help.
Items will be offered to children up to age 12 and if resources allow up to 19 years old.
Last year, more than 800 people volunteered in getting the toys ready and Onslow Christmas Cheer served more than 5 thousand families.
Donations can be made at the Christmas Cheer building off Richlands Highway in Jacksonville next to the new Walmart.
