The USO in Jacksonville is gearing up to serve more than 2,500 servicemembers and their families a fantastic Thanksgiving feast this year.
For decades, servicemembers and their families have been served the finest Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings at the Jacksonville USO location. This year they can expect the same.
Organizers were busy Wednesday prepping the tables, the turkey, and unloading all the donated desserts.
The meal will be served from 10:30 am to 5 pm. Servicemembers can also call their loved ones while they eat on cell phones provided by Sprint.
