Camp Lejeune Tainted Water Update

More support is on the way for families exposed to toxic tap water aboard Camp Lejeune.

Representative Brad Miller says he will submit a bill to the House of Representatives this month. It's a companion bill to the act that Senator Richard Burr submitted to the Senate this summer. The bills aim to grant health care at any VA facility to Veterans or family members who suffer from adverse health effects after exposure to tainted water at Camp Lejeune.

I think it's great that the Camp Lejeune issue is getting some air time. I'm confused by the claim that Camp Lejeune families are getting "more help". The vast majority of Camp Lejeune families have gotten no help. Any tangible help for The Poisoned Patriots of Camp Lejeune will be an improvement. Senator Burr is sponsoring S.1518 link: . Senators Hagan, Burris, Feingold, Grassley, Harkin and Bill Nelson are co-sponsors of S.1518. It's nice to know that Congressman Miller is also working on behalf of Camp Lejuene Survivors. A lot of Camp Lejeune families struggle constantly with illness and medical bills. They have also struggled with the belief that no one cares. Now, with the help of some real good people in DC, Camp Lejeune survivors will hopefully learn that a lot of people care. Check out www.watersurvivors.com.
