Jury selection began Monday in the murder trial of a Jacksonville man, accused of shooting a construction worker from South Carolina, in what police believe to be a drug deal gone bad.
25 year old Lawrence Dowsing was charged by police last March, with first degree murder in the death of 32 year old William Palmer.
Palmer was found dead, in his work truck in a Jacksonville neighborhood on March first 2008.
He was shot once in the side. Phone records show Palmer, who witnesses say was looking to buy drugs, received a phone call from Dowsing's phone before he died.
