We are gathering details on what officials say is another side effect of all the rain on the coast Monday, a waste water spill.
Officials estimate 14,000 gallons of waste water spilled into the Intracoastal Waterway Monday. The Jacksonville Daily News says the spill happened on Sea Manor Drive, near NC-50, in an area of Surf City known as Little Kinston. Officials say the spill does not affect water customers.
