Breaking & Entering Suspect Charged With Desertion

A man charged earlier this year for breaking and entering and larceny now faces a charge of desertion from the Marine Corps.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office says while doing some follow-up paper work, it was discovered that 22 year-old Jhad Howell of Dudley was wanted by the Marines for desertion.

Lawmen found Howell who is now in the Wayne County Detention Center under no bond.

Robert: Sending criminals to war wouldn't be beneficial whatsoever. Giving a criminal a loaded rifle and the training to be able to kill people? Not smart.

since he wants to break into things or places that do not belong to him,let the U.S.M.C. take him back, transport him to the IRAQ and let him break into something over there.almost forgot,do not give him a weapon to defend himself.if he broke into my home,he would wish that he was in IRAQ. THE LAW SHOULD SEND ALL CRIMINALS TO THE WAR,IT WOULD SAVE THE TAXPAYERS BILLIONS AND BILLIONS.

To Marine.. You are right, it is Marine Corps . May seem not that important to some, however to jarheads it means alot. To Anonymous.. Pretty easy to see what you are attempting to do, and that is to provoke an argument. I would be willing to bet you were kicked out of the Marine Corps, or you simply could not pass the ASVAB. Chances are the military will slap him on the wrist, as they do not want to spend time and money dealing with this guy. For them, it is much easier giving him his walking papers. Now, for the B&E, burglary charge, he might be in deep doo-doo.

The beat goes on. Familiar faces, familiar stories. "Neal Shlonson", is that you real name or your screen name used in movies with Tony Capucci and Chad Hunt?

I'm with Marine. Also, can we get Marine Corps capitalized? Appreciate it.
