The Salvation Army is looking for food donations from you, to help families and children out of school for the summer in need.

The Salvation Army in Jacksonville is feeding over 1 thousand families a month and that number is growing due to children being out of school.

Many school children receive free breakfast and lunch at school during the year, but now they are turning to the Salvation Army for help.

The Jacksonville branch cant keep up with the food requests, and help from families needing money for their rent of electricity bills.

The Salvation Army is also putting on a free breakfast program each Tuesday and Thursday in Belgrade to help those that cant afford food.

I hate it for these kids, but i am so sick of people who can physically work asking for a hand out. I am sure one of these farmers in eastern nc could put some to work in a tobacco feild. Make these people get a job!
