Meth Suspect Charged Again

For the second time in four months, an Onslow County man is under arrest and charged with making meth.

The Onslow County Sheriff's Office says 23 year-old Brandon Futrell of Richlands was operating a meth lab at 2071 Kinston highway in Richlands.

A Haz-Mat clean up crew is disposing of the hazardous materials.

Futrell is behind bars on $500,000 bond charged with numerous meth-related offenses.

Futrell was arrested on February 7, 2009 for possessing a Meth Lab at the same location. He was released from the Onslow County Jail on bond for those charges.

Enough is Enough. No we don't know the whole story and we have ALL made mistakes, but no matter, it was still his choice. Whether someone offered it to him (to get him hooked)or whether it was in the home or outside, it was STILL his choice. Yes, people can change, but who is he putting in harms way until he does. I will pray for him and his family. He made a choice and now he (as most of us have or will one day) must pay the price.

In response to "ugh" do you know it was IN his house? Did you see it? Do you have an inside connection we don't know about? And what exactly does Brandon deserve? Have you ever done anything wrong? Did you get what you deserved?

Melissa, I'm sorry for everything that you and your family are going through. I know him personally too, we grew up together. I know what he did was wrong, and I'm not here to judge because I don't have to power to judge. I'm just concerned about his soul and the souls of those that dont know the Lord. God can use this very thing to turn his heart back to God. Brandon has a calling on his life, and he has been running from it long enough. I know this is easier said then done, but try not to worry about the negative remarks you hear or read. People are going to talk, that's what they do. But if you lean on Jesus and trust and pray that God will save Brandon. I believe that he will do it. We all make mistakes, the bible tells us that we are all sinners, so there's no point in me bashing him, when I know that I have done things that I wasn't suppose to do. Brandon needs deliverance from this stronghold. I hope and pray that you all, including Brandon will find peace through this.

I know Brandon personally, he is my husband. Brandon has made some bad choices, everyone does. Most of you that have posted things up here no nothing about the situation. You have only heard or seen what the media wants you to see. People can change and Brandon is trying very hard to change. And to the one who said taht I knew all about it, no I didn't. Do you really think I would put my son in that environment. All of you need to keep your mouths shut til you know the whole story. You are all a bunch of hypocrites.

Tell me how he is different from the people you just said you feel sorry for because there "lives were ruined"? Don't you think someone started him on it like that? Someone else is responsible for ruining his life I sopose. If that was the case then the cycle would never end and it would never be the person on drugs fault. No one points a gun to your head to get you to use it. I'm not saying he is not wrong because i know he was. However I think everyone should shut up about someone you know NOTHING about!!!!!!!!!!

What about his family? Do you think maybe their lives have been affected? People make terrible mistakes everyday...I'm in no way condoning his behavior. However, people can also change!!!! AND you do not know the whole story! Only what you see on tv or read! I would be willing to bet that there's more to the story than you will ever know!

I know Brandon. I know that he has made a total mess of his life, has ignored all responsibilities that he has, and is nothing but a low life loser. He needs to wake up and take a long hard look around. It would give me nothing but great happiness to see him sit in jail for 10 years. He thought he had the world on his shoulders and now look at him. Regardless of how the news showed the segment, the lab was still in his house. What an idiot!!! You would of thought the first time he got caught would have been enough. Especially since I heard there was a wife and small innocent child in the home on the first go 'round. And of course the wife knew nothing.... (right!)Oh! I'm just cooking dinner honey! Horray for the Sherriff's Dept. Brandon: I hope you get what you deserve!!

DK. Ok. I made a simple spelling mistake; which is very rare. It happens from time to time to all of us. I take great pride in my "edumacation", but I am not perfect. Thank you for the correction. Upon being made aware, I make it a point to make the necessary changes. However, due to the nature or your post-only pointing out a spelling mistake and not responding with any substance-I feel just fine having made the spelling error which I have immediately corrected, rather than perpetuating self-serving bias such as yourself. Customarily either personal tragedy or an epiphany is required to defect from views such as yours; most people die harboring them. Nevertheless, I am confident that my point was made. You obviously did the research, found the facts and had nothing else to offer but an attack on one spelling error. Woohoo! Way to go big guy...or gal!
