DNA Report Says Laurean Not Father Of Lauterbach Baby

A former Marine, accused of killing a pregnant Marine, is not the father of that unborn baby. That's what DNA tests indicate.

Cesar Laurean, who just this week was expelled from the Marine Corps, is accused of killing Lance Corporal Maria Lauterbach and burring her body in his backyard.

Lauterbach had accused Laurean of rape, and she was 8 months pregnant when she was murdered.

A report from the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, obtained by WITN, excludes Laurean as the father of Lauterbach's baby.

Well, after all the big drama with the run away and "capture" of this individual, maybe everyone will see now that he was just as dumb as we thought. Nevertheless, if he was the father or not, I don't think someone killed her and just chose his backyard out of all the property in Onslow county to BURN her and the baby in a pit. How terrible and sad this story is.

Oh yes... When I said Lauterbach and Laurean both got what they deserved, some of you got bent out of shape. ...Lauterbach was sleeping with a married man, and some of you guys were sure Laurean was the father. ...Looks like Lauterbach wasn't such a good girl after all! ...I save my sympathies for the wife and the daughter Laurean left behind. ..I'm sure wifey feels pretty redeemed right about now. ...Hubby is in prison, he killed mistress, mistress's baby isn't his. ....Sounds like a prefect Twilight Zone turnout to me. ...Tisk tisk, you reap what you sow. ..Don't get mad at me, those aren't my words ...Galatians 6:7

Maybe this will teach all the wanna be judges out there to not judge something that you really don't know anything about.Everyone was so sure that Laurean WAS the father.

The key word here is "accused", not "tried and convicted",as in the Eve Carson case. But,in North Carolina, guilty until proven innocent is irrelevent in a case of PWG syndrome.

Well I bet he feels like a DA now, and don't mean District Attorney either. This simple DNA test done months ago WOULD have eliminated this whole mess EXCEPT for the fact that he must of had sex with the woman WHILE married to his wife. Oh well, you snooze you lose, you sleeze, she leaves.
