An Onslow County woman will spend at least the next seven years in prison for her part in the death of a Camp Lejeune Marine.

Belinda McDonald pleaded guilty Thursday to involuntary manslaughter.

Police say in December of 2006 NCIS agents found Jason Beaird unconscious in his barracks. He later died at Naval Hospital of a drug overdose and his death at first was ruled accidental.

A further investigation showed McDonald sold Beaird three patches of Fentanyl, which is a synthetic opiate
