A suspect charged with first degree murder in a 2007 killing plead guilty to second degree murder in an Onslow County Courtroom Tuesday.
Robert Ridges was charged with killing Almario Millander on March 21, 2007.
Ridges said he and Millander had an argument. During the argument, Mr. Millander threatened to kill Ridges with an illegally shortened shotgun. Ridges threatened to retaliate and went and bought a gun. Several hours later, prosecutors say Ridges located Millander and shot and killed him.
