More People Taking The Bus

Many people in the east are exchanging a car ride for a bus ride in hopes of saving some money in the bad economy.

Greenville transit officials say ridership has gone up 24 percent within the past year.

People in Greenville said they've noticed an increase of passengers ever since gas prices went up and the economy went sour.

Jacksonville transit officials say they've also seen an increase, and nationally officials say public transportation has gone up 52 percent.
