500 Camp Lejeune Marines Back From Iraq

It was cheers, applause, and tears of joy as hundreds of family members greeted more than 500 Marines and Sailors at Camp Lejeune Tuesday as they arrived home from Iraq.

The troops are part of the 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines, who have completed a successful deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

While in Iraq the troops provided security and stability operations along with the Iraqi security forces.

Family members roared as the buses rolled up carrying their loved ones.

There were no causalities in this group of troops that returned.
