It's so hard seeing you go Lissa and in this way! I miss you so much and it seems like no one understands! I used to look up to you so much! Man, i will never forget all the times we spent and how we used to walk to school together! You will be in my heart forever! And as long as I live you will live through me! It was so hard going to your funeral and seeing you in that casket! That wasn't the Talissa I knew! The Talissa I knew was the true definition of a DIVA and that's how I will always remember you! When I got the news about your death all I could do was cry and pray that it wasn't true! You weren't only my cousin, but you were also my big sis! Now I'm just by myself trying to keep my head up through all of this! It's so HARD! But I know you looking down on me and you want to see me smile. I promise as long as I'm on this earth, there will always be a piece of you here! I love you cuz and I will never forget you!

I just wants to give a shout out to my girl Talissa. Straight up word to your mother. Obama is President and my baby girl is six feet under. I am going to miss you, Boo. I know your brothers are too. I hope you will always remember the times we use to go out and have lunch at Bojangles and talk about our Civic's teacher. He was a trip. I am always going to regret telling you to hurry up because we gonna be late for class. I never knew you'd go crazy and cross a 4 lane highway in Jacksonville. You straight crazy.

My hope is that this kind of tragedy does not occur again. They need to add crosswalks all up and down this busy street. Also, the driver involved in this accident is someone I know. She herself is a wonderful woman and I can't imagine how hard it will be for her to live with this guilt for the rest of her life. My prayers to all involved.

This was the most upsetting news of all this year. Talissa was a great friend. I am dearly missing her soo much already. The funeral was the hardest thing ive had to go through. My grandfather recently passed on inaugeration day and then for this to happen has really hurt me. Talissa had so much going for herself. A magnificent person she was. The don DIVA she was :) all of her true friends accepted her for all that she was. Its so hard to type this without tearing up, but she gave her life to christ and continued to put him first in her life, i know she will be the angel that will watch over us in heaven. I will live my life for her and continue to put god first in all situations. God makes NO MISTAKES whatsoever. God bless her family and the rest of her friends. Let my friend Talissa Hatchell rest in peace and quit the nagging over the computer blogging.

And SOME of you call yourselves "adults"??? You jumped someones case because they used text speak to express their feelings on losing what is obviously a friend, and you had the nerve to call him out and THEN call yourself and adult???? WOW!! Sounds like some of you need to step away from the keyboard! I wouldnt cry one bit if wilma or any of the other keyboard cops got smacked down a notch if they tried to be so "big" and "grown" in someones face... some of you people are disgusting, and we wonder why the country is in the shape it is in...

There were no charges filed because it was an accident. Western is a very busy street and caution needs to be exercised all the time. Talissa probably parked across the street due to the limited parking on the college campus. I am sorry for the loss of this young girl and give the family and friends my prayers.

I'm asking again. Why were no charges filed. What happened???
