Two people have been arrested and charged with stealing money from a donation container collecting cash for literacy projects.
31-year-old Mark Brown and 30-year-old Licianna Yopp are also charged with stealing clothing from the shelves of the same Dollar General Store Sunday in Richlands. Monday morning the manager was reviewing the security cameras and discovered the thefts. They were arrested Monday afternoon on misdemeanor larceny. Brown is also charged with obstructing and delaying a law enforcement officer.
