Camp Lejeune says water pressure has been restored in four areas of the base that lost water Monday morning.
The outage affected those in Knox Cove, Knox Landing, Tarrawa Terrace I and Camp Johnson, and was caused by a water line break.
The base says a boil water advisory is in effect for those areas.
An emergency water outage advisory is still in effect for residents in Camp Lejeune after a weekend water line break.
The outage affects those in Knox Cove, Knox Landing, Tarrawa Terrace I and Camp Johnson.
A large break in the water line that serves the areas is to blame.
The line broke around 6 p.m. Sunday and had to be turned off in order to be fixed.
The broken water line has lead to no water service in the areas.
Emergency water utility crews have been working through Sunday night to fix the break.
Once water is restored, the Division of Water Resources advises residents to boil all water before use, or use bottled water.
Crews are unsure of when the line will be fixed, but do expect water to be running Monday.
