Wild Dogs Blamed For Hertford County Pet Deaths

A local sheriff is warning people in one area to be careful outside, because of a pack of wild dogs.

Hertford County Sheriff Juan Vaughn says people in the NC 42 and Bonner Bridge Road area of Ahoskie should be careful outside, because they're just not sure if the wild dogs would be aggressive towards people, according to the Roanoke-Chowan News-Herald, which reports wild dogs have killed three domesticated dogs in the past three weeks.

Sheriff Vaughan said the pack consists of five wilds dogs, according to the paper. One is white with a black and brown face, one is all black, and the other three are black and brown.
