Virginia Man Dies In Currituck County Crash

A Virginia man was killed in a single vehicle accident over the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

The crash happened shortly after noon Friday on Tulls Creek Road in Currituck County.

Troopers say Christoper Mapes of Chesapeake, Virginia was killed when his vehicle ran off the road and overturned. The 22-year-old was thrown from the wreckage.
