A semi truck hauling grain burst into flames Tuesday afternoon in in Washington County on Lake Shore Drive at the intersection with Newland Road . The driver of the 40-foot trailer Quentin Norman said he saw smoke and fire coming from the hood and he jumped out. The Lake Phelps Volunteer Fire Department responded and had the fire out in about 40 minutes. The driver nor the fire department could say what caused that tractor-trailer to catch fire, but no one was injured. The driver works for Askew Trucking Inc. in Plymouth.
