The wildfire burning in Dare county could create some problems for drivers this morning.
Authorities say weather conditions are "favorable" for "super fog," a mix of smoke and fog, between 6:00- 7:00 a.m. along Highway 264 & possibly highway 64.Visibility is expected to improve slowly after sunrise. There could also be unhealthy air quality with smoke expected to impact Stumpy Point, Manns Harbor, Roanoke Island, and the Outer Banks north of Oregon Inlet. The Pains Bay Wildfire has burned about 70- square miles and is 80% contained.
