I wonder how long its going to take the APD to solve the 5 month old baby murder?

It has gotten crazy around here. I remember when Ahoskie was quiet and didn't have all of this drama. Regardless of who started what, the end result is that someone's child or parent was shot. I wish that all of this violence would cease in this area. We are losing too many of our young people to unnecessary Bull----.

Some of Ahoskie's officers live for the locking up of drug dealers and violent offenders. I know because one of there detectives is always harrassing the people in "this" are like he has nothing better to do. Others seem to do nothing but write tickets. It takes all types, I guess. Either way good job on finding out who commited this crime, now get off your.... ....and arrest him.

Budget Cuts in Law Enforcement. Crime on the rise. What is the end result? (Greenville knows)

There is always two sides to every story, lets not consider him armed and dangerous unless you know him

And what would the other side of the story be? And he's not armed and dangerous? He SHOT a man!! With a gun! Sounds to me like he is armed and dangerous, but that's just my opinion

...He's a good boy. He just made a mistake. He was just turning his life around. He goes to church every Sunday.

Ahoskie police department hardly ever do their job because if so issueing warning tickets for standing on the block would have continued and it proably wouldn't have happened. As far as Catherine street that street is good and there's really no violence in that area .

Ahoskie PD, unfortunately has had budget cuts as well. Several units need to consistently patrol this area of the town. It seems there is Little to do in that area and Catherine street too.

Ahoskie PD is never where they need to be. They're too busy setting up road blocks on Jernigan Swamp Road rigt outside of town, where crime is not an issue. They would rather write someone a window tint ticket than arrest some 2 bit sorry drug dealer that is bold enough to deal in broad daylight less then a block away from the police station. When they get through with the road block they'll probably go pick on some teenagers for loitering in wal mart parking lot instead of doing some real police work. It's a shame the criminals and drug dealers in this town have the cops so intimidated.

Thats the truth. They're always harrassing the people around here who work for a living but never seem to figure out there is still a 5 month old baby who was allegedly murdered and no case solved. Makes me sick to my stomach.

You're exactly correct. People who work for a living and live a clean life, are the ones they want to harrass. BTW, when is this murder going to be solved, involving the 5 month old baby?? Guess theres more important things to do, like burn gasoline and taxpayers pay for.
