An elderly woman who was the subject of a statewide Silver Alert has been found, not far from where she was last seen.
Lizze Wilson was awake and alert when located by authorities. She was found about six blocks from the Woodhaven Rest Home in Enfield where she was last seen early Tuesday morning.
The 70-year-old woman was taken to Halifax Regional Medical Center for evaluation.

Multiple local and state agencies are still searching for a missing Halifax County woman.
A Silver Alert was issued for 70-year-old Lizzie Wilson after she disappeared from a rest home in Enfield. Officials believe she is suffering from dementia or some cognitive impairment.
Authorities Tuesday used four-wheelers, tracking dogs and help from a Highway Patrol helicopter to look for the woman.
Wilson is a black woman, standing 5'1" and weighing 198 pounds. She was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, dark blue jeans and flip flops.
Wilson was last seen at Woodhaven Rest Home at 311 E. Bryant St. in Enfield.
