Police said a convenience store clerk was held at gunpoint before the robbers ran.
Police in the Halifax County town of Enfield said shortly before 2A.M. on Thursday, two men wearing masks robbed a local convenience store. According to investigators, the pair entered the M&C Mart on South McDaniels Street in Enfield. One robber showed the clerk his handgun and demanded cash. Police said the two men made off with an undisclosed amount of money. Even with police K-9 units on their tracks, the dogs came up short of the thieves.
Police said they need help to find the suspects, the gunman described as a black male, about 5'9", and 160 lbs.
