Temperatures Allow For Mosquito Spraying

Pasquotank County officials say it will finally be warm enough Wednesday evening to do the mosquito spraying they have had to postpone.

Residents should try to be indoors when the aerial mosquito spraying starts around 7 p.m. The spraying is expected to last until 1 a.m.

Crews put the spray off Tuesday night because of chilly temperatures. Spraying is most effective when mosquitoes are active, and that requires warmer weather.
