Halifax County Teen Arrested
A local teen is facing some serious charges this morning.
Halifax county lawmen say 17-year-old Kenneth Phipps is accused of assaulting a woman Thursday afternoon in Littleton. Witnesses told deputies that Phipps had thrown a bar stool at a woman and forced her into a home, not letting her go until deputies arrived.
Phipps is also facing charges for interfering with emergency communications, for allegedly smashing the phone while she called 911 for help.
