Greenville Man Arrested On 21 Sex Charges
A Pitt County man is charged in Halifax County with 21 sex crimes.
The Halifax County Sheriff's Office says 25-year-old Joseph Braxton of Greenville is charged with seven counts each of statutory rape, indecent liberties with a child, and crimes against nature.
The Pitt County Sheriff's Office arrested Braxton at a relative's home Wednesday.
Investigators say the crimes happened with a 15-year-old acquaintance between October of last year and April of this year.
Braxton was jailed at the Pitt County Detention Center.
