A grand jury has indicted a former Scotland Neck police officer for the death of a man who died last year after being tased.
John Turner has been indicted on one count of felony involuntary manslaughter.
Last November 61-year-old Roger Anthony died after being tased and falling off his bicycle.
Police said Anthony was repeatedly told to get off his bike, but the man didn't respond.
Relatives said the man had hearing problems and had a history of seizures.
