Police say an autopsy shows a man was the victim of a homicide Monday in Elizabeth City.
Jonathan Carson was found dead at an apartment on West Colonial Avenue. A friend of the 24-year-old man called police about the shooting.
Elizabeth City police say an autopsy performed in Greenville ruled the death as a homicide and they met with the victim's parents.
Police say they are working with the SBI on the murder and ask anyone with information on the case to contact police at 252=335=4321.
