Elizabeth City Memorial Remembers Coast Guard Crew Killed In Accident

Four Coast Guardsmen, including one from the east, killed in a helicopter crash in February, were honored Friday in Elizabeth City.

The ceremony unveiled the addition of the names of the crew of Coast Guard 65-35 to the aviation memorial at Air Station Elizabeth City.

The Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin went down in Mobile Bay, Alabama February, 28th during a training flight.

Lieutenant Commander Dale Taylor from Snow Hill in Greene County, Petty Officer Fernando Jorge from California, Lieutenant J.G Cameron of Oregon, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Drew Knight from Alabama were all killed.
