The Washington High School wrestling team is holding its 7th annual tournament Saturday, December 3.
The event is in memory of Eli Saleeby Lee, a Pam Pack wrestler who tragically died in a 2005 car accident.
The tournament starts at 9 a.m. and is expected to go until about 3 p.m. The school is located at 400 Slatestone Road in Washington.
Not only will you get to see some talented local wrestlers from Washington, Jacksonville, White Oak, Hertford and Manteo in action,
but you can cross one Saturday meal off your list.
The team will be selling biscuits in the morning and grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch, as well as pizza and other concessions. Admission is $6 at the door. All proceeds support the WHS wrestling team.
