The Hyde County Sheriff's Office is investigating the discovery of two bodies found over the weekend. Deputies say at this time they believe the two deaths are unrelated.
According to Chief Deputy Guire Cahoon a body was found Friday in Swan Quarter around the boat docks on Landing Rd.
Cahoon says then on Saturday another body was found in Engelhard on a roadside ditch and canal off of Farrow Fork Rd.
Cahoon says both bodies found were males. He would not give any more information about the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the bodies.
The identities have not been released. Officials say the investigation is ongoing. They say the bodies have been taken to the medical examiners office and they are awaiting those autopsy results.
