Man Critically Wounded In Rocky Mount Shooting

A man was critically injured after two men jumped out of a car and shot him multiple times in Rocky Mount.

Brian Nicholas Thorne, age 25, was shot at the 1600 block of Windsor Drive at Marlee Drive in Rocky Mount.

Police responding to a call of "shots fired" found Thorne in the grass at the corner of Windsor Drive and Marlee Drive, shot multiple times.

Police are looking for three suspects in a silver or light blue 1990s-model four-door Toyota Camry.

Police say the three drove up in their car, stopped and two men got out and shot the victim.

Thorne was last listed in critical condition at Pitt Memorial Hospital. Police say no motive has been determined as of yet.
