Coast Guard Releases Rescue Video

Dramatic rescue video is released after the coast guard rescued 4 people off our coast.

A sailboat out of the Morehead City Basin became distressed Thursday morning.

In an hour the aircrew got in touch with the crew of the wind son II, a 52-foot sailboat who told the coast guard they were 113 miles southeast of Cape Lookout.

A MH-60 Jayhawk Helicopter Rescue Crew from Air Station Elizabeth City was dispatched to the scene and arrived just before 7 PM where they made the rescue.
