Halifax county authorities responded to two different robberies Thursday and within hours of the crimes, they've made one arrest and identified a suspect in another.
35 year old Antione Pierre Pierce is charged with Breaking and Entering, Larceny after Breaking and Entering, Conspiracy to Commit Breaking and Entering, Possession of Stolen Goods, Obtaining Property by False Pretenses, and Conspiracy to Obtain Property by False Pretenses.
Authorities say they responded to a home on Twin Cedars Road outside of Roanoke Rapids. When they arrived, witnesses provided detectives information to name Pierce as a suspect.
He's now in jail under a $50,000.00 bond. Deputies say they're investigated the possibility of additional suspects.
In an unrelated incident, deputies say they're looking for a 17 year old who allegedly stole a vehicle from someone he was staying with overnight.
Deputies say David Jermaine Ward Junior is wanted for Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Stolen Vehicle, and misdemeanor larceny.
The victims say he woke up Thursday morning and found his car keys, cell phone and Honda Accord missing and Ward nowhere to be found.
Police later found the car abandoned in a Wilson neighborhood where Ward resides.
