Two people are charged with having too much of an ingredient used to make meth.

The Halifax County Sheriff's Office arrested 42 year old Connie Crews Hux and 64 year old Ruby May Holcomb, both of Roanoke Rapids.

Detectives say the two made illegal purchases of pseudoephedrine.

North Carolina State Law prohibits the purchase of more than two packages of certain products containing pseudoephedrine per day, and more than three packages of certain products within a 30 day period. Business are required to keep a purchase log of each sale.
