Highway 11 Reopened In Hertford County

Highway 11 in Hertford County was closed because of a hog truck accident but is now back open.

The Department of Transportation says the highway was closed near Ahoskie and a detour had been set up.

Traffic was being detoured onto Modlin Hatchery Road to U.S. 13 and then back to Highway 11 for several hours. That detour is no longer in effect.
