Police: Roanoke Rapids Man Steals $10,800

Police say a Roanoke Rapids man got busted for stealing more than $10,000 from someone else's home.

According to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office Chistopher Edmonds was arrested on Sunday for theft. Authorities say he stole $10,800 from a residence off Hwy 48 in Roanoke Rapids.

He's being held on a $5,000 bond in the Halifax County Jail. Edmond's first court appearance is scheduled for August 5th.
