Luxury Car, Drugs Seized In Tyrrell County Drug Bust

A 2006 BMW was seized, along with 18 rocks of crack cocaine in the Tyrrell County drug bust.

Deputies say they arrested Gwendolyn Waller of Jamaica Queens, NY and charged her with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and maintaining a vehicle for the sale of controlled substances.

They also charged 30-year-old Rashad Swain of Columbia with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine.

Thank you to the sherriff dept a job well done But our stupid judicial system loves to let the criminals off they should not get their car back rules are rules and the drug dealers should follow them too and they should take 64 west out of the county and keep on going

I am very proud of the sheriff's dept...My family is part of that team, and I honestly feel that everyone at the sheriff's dept is family...Tyrrell County is a small community... And the officers only have the citizens of Tyrrell County's best interest at heart. No one is hating on anyone who drives a BMW....when they had to get it in a dirty way...there's no pride in that...They mistook our officers to be dumb country bumkins...Guess they got proved wrong! Now that BMW will go to someone who can drive it with pride....hope its someone with the sheriff's dept.

Thank God for Tyrrell County Sheriff's Dept. Atleast they are actually putting a dent into the drug problem here! It's nice to know that our tax money is actually paying someone to work..unlike the last sheriff in office! Darryl and his team deserve alot of credit for putting their words into action! I hope he runs again next go round! I'd be his campaign manager!

Come on people, people who talk like Kayleigh don't cruise around WITN typing comments. There is definitely someone here just trying to push your buttons. By the way, I hope Darryl puts this BMW on the street.
