There is some good news on the economic recovery front in East Carolina as all but two counties show a drop in unemployment.
The latest numbers came out Friday morning, and show drops for 84 of the state's 100 counties for the month of March.
Here in the East, only Pitt and Wilson counties did not show a decline in March.
Pitt County numbers were flat, while Wilson's unemployment edged up one-tenth of 1%.
The counties with the largest drops statewide were:
Dare County -2.5%
Hyde County -2.2%
Martin County -2.1%
