UPDATE: Third Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested In Halifax County

A third suspect has now been arrested and charged in an armed robbery.

The Halifax County Sheriff's office charged 20-year-old Kourtnie James with robbery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping and assault. The charges come after the victim says he was robbed at gunpoint.

Two other suspects, Ontarris Armstrong and Hakeem Armstrong are also charged in the case.

James also faces identity theft charges with another suspect stemming from a different case. The Halifax County Sheriff's Office says James and 31-year-old Shalonda Pope stole a purse with credit cards and then used them at several locations.

They're each charged with 11offenses, including financial card theft, identity theft and forgery.

Two armed robbery and kidnapping suspects are behind bars while authorities search for another stemming from an incident in Halifax county.

The Sheriff's Office says 23-year-old Ontarris Armstrong and 21-year-old Hakeem Armstrong, both of Enfield, turned themselves in. They're charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, first degree kidnapping, and assault with a deadly weapon.

Deputies are still looking for Kourtnie James. The victim says the three robbed him at gunpoint and took his money.
