Four Charged In Convenience Store Robbery

Four people are behind bars after two convenience store clerks were held up at gunpoint and had shots fired at them.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office charged Lester Norman, Michael Gutiereez, Gary Francis and Melvin Carter with the August 10th armed robbery of the Pea Ridge convenience store in Roper.

The sheriff's office say the four barged into the store around closing time and removed cash from the register with the two clerks inside.

I wanted to comment on the post that "Pearidger" made on Aug 20,2010. I want to say that it was absolutely ridiculous what you said. Why sould you even put this person business out there like that. This person has no control over what their son does, he is grown. You are a idiot if you think he is gonna get set free because his parent works for Sheriff Ross. Get a Lyfe...

One of the suspects (Melvin Carter) is the son of one of Sheriff Ross' employees.. You can BET he will get off / set free. Ross and Bunny Sanders were behind the Roper Police Chief not getting charged. So you know Ross' employees son will be able to commit robbery and get away with it.. Pray for Washington County - we need it.. We don't have any law!
