Fast Food Manager Accused Of Punching Customer Held In Eastern NC

MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) -- Authorities say a former McDonald's manager accused of punching a mother inside a Marietta McDonald's is now in custody in New Hanover County.

Cobb County sheriff's spokeswoman Nancy Bodiford told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Tiffany Denise Allen was taken into custody Monday by police in New Hanover County.

Police say Jennifer Schwenker entered the McDonald's with her autistic children and service dog. Authorities say Allen, off-duty at the time, became irate the dog was inside and punched the mother in the face.

Allen is charged with simple battery, simple assault, and disorderly conduct.

Bodiford said Cobb County authorities are working to have her returned to Georgia to face the charges.

Store operators J.M. and Jan Owens said the safety and well-being of customers is a top priority.

This is a perfect example for when "Keeping it real goes wrong" I would like to hear the managers thought on her actions today, now that she has had time to think about it. Job gone, life on hold, need lawyers, family mad at you for trying to defend a place you only work at. ! People pointing their fingers at you as the stupid person. The list goes on and on. Now that co-worker that hated your guts has applied for your job.

In the pictures (elsewhere) it shows the manager with a child in her arms confronting the woman. Moderators Nightmare you seem correct, she was showing off...but her co-workers tried to hold her back although she looked to be roughly 300lbs in her spandex. I sure hope this get her more than fired. This was a black on white/handicap crime so where is the NAACP? How are people so dumb these days?

The "manager" wasn't working and just happened to be at McD's. The "mgr" attacked the lady because she had a dog with her. The lady also had her special needs child with her. The dog is a service dog for that child. No, what you have here is an ignorant idiot that was trying to show her co workers that she is the "boss"

I am almost certain that there is definitely more to this story. Anyone who works in customer service knows that you are not going to get mad about that and just punch someone. The lady was probably being diffcult but that is still not grounds for the managers behavior.
