Fugitive In The East Arrested By US Marshals

Authorities in the east have arrested a fugitive wanted on several outstanding warrants.

The Wilmington Police Department arrested 28 year old Eric Rivers after learning he was at a business on 10th and Chestnut Streets Saturday morning.

Rivers was wanted by the US Marshals Service for failing to appear in court on federal drug charges.

Rivers had been eluding capture for the past year. He is currently being held without bond in the New Hanover County Correctional Facility.
