Marching For Justice For Trayvon Martin In Kinston

People in eastern carolina were out marching Wednesday seeking justice for Trayvon Martin.

Its been just over five weeks since the unarmed Flordia teen was shot by a neighborhood community watch volunteer who says he acted in self defense. George Zimmerman has not been arrested, which is what protesters across the country have been demanding. A group called People Organizing For Progress met at the Lenoir County Courthouse and walked on the courthouse steps. They say they just want justice for the family.

The Trayvon Martin case is spurring another march in eastern Carolina Wednesday.

It's been just over five weeks since the unarmed Florida teen was shot by a neighborhood community watch volunteer who says he acted in self defense. George Zimmerman has not been arrested, which is what protests across the country have been demanding.

A group has organized a march in Kinston Wednesday at the Lenoir County Courthouse. The Kinston Free Press says the group is calling for those who want to peacefully march, from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.
