Three Charged With Several Car Break-Ins

Three people have been charged for a series of car break-ins, and deputies say, we can expect to see more arrests.

The three were arrested after a group of cars were broken into in Lenoir County early Wednesday morning, in the Banks School Road, Institute Road area. The suspects are 20 year old Mason Quinn of Kinston, 20 year old Cody Hill of Kinston, and 16 year old Gavin Hill of LaGrange.

The suspects were caught after deputies say they used a credit card stolen from one of the bars Wednesday morning a few hours later at the Walmart in Goldsboro. Deputies say they have recovered some of the things they stole from cars, and believe the trio is responsible for break-ins that have been going on since last year.

Am I missing something? Everyone keeps talking about these older boys but when looking I found this http://www.emeraldisle-nc.org/pdfs/Police-pressrelease11152011.pdf and the older ones were not talked about, but the young one was all in it.

How can you say it's the parents when 2 of them are 20 years old? Masons parents are good people, and they're 2 other children have never been in trouble in their lives. You cannot control what your child gets out on the street and does when he is a grown man.

They didn't break into one vehicle; it's multiple vehicles. They stole stuff. They are well old enough to know better. I'm betting they have been 'at it' for some time now. I agree it's time to dole out some harsher punishment. I doubt jail will change them, but it will take them off the streets for time.

They broke into houses too. Not just cars! I hope the middle boy is 18 when he gets out. He's got a whooping coming to him.

Don't blame me! I blame the parents. I hope they get their other little buddies too! These 3 weren't the only ones involved.

I know these boys. They are reflections of their parents. Tessa was right. They never went to school. They were more concerned with having "social" lives instead. I hope Paul Jones sends them off for years.

I know the two brothers dad. He's a hard worker. Even coty worked for a while. He was a great roofer. But apparently the greed of easy winning was to much for him. He was just too high strung. He wanted the easy way out. My opinion is, if the boys would have stayed with their dad they might not be in the situation their in now. The boys are still young. They might be able to bounce back..... And not STEAL from people anymore.....but I kinda doubt it. They need to stay in prison till they don't wanna steal anymore and work for what they receive. Instead of stealing it from someone who did work for it.

The only upstanding citizen that posted had her comment taken down. Poor Tessa.
