The Highway Patrol says a Monday morning wreck closed part of a typically busy highway in Lenoir County.
Trooper Ipock with the Highway Patrol says the south-bound lanes of Highway 258 were closed for about 30 minutes around 5:00 a.m. Monday morning near Dobbs Farm Road after a wreck.
Ipock says Daniel Humphrey ran a red light at the intersection causing the wreck. He is charged with reckless driving.
Two people suffered minor injuries in the crash.
The scene has been cleared and all traffic is flowing normally.
