Mystery Surrounding Missing Elderly Couple

More Video...

Family members of missing elderly couple, one of which became subject of a Silver Alert Thursday, tell WITN they have been missing for more than a month.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered woman, 69-year-old Louvenia Grady Boone.

Boone is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

She's described as 5' 1," 200 pounds and was last seen at 3340 Dobbs Farm Road in Kinston. She might be in a tan Toyota pickup with a primer spot on lower section of the truck bed with NC tag: WZX3531.

Officials say she might be with her husband Randall Boone.

A family member says the two have been missing since April 15th, and that Randall Boone is not part of the Silver Alert because he doesn't fit the criteria for an alert.

The family member says no one has seen or heard from them since mid-April and that they don't have cellphones.

Anyone with information about Boone should call the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office at (252) 559-6120.
