Saturday marks two years since Greene County Deputy Jon Willis was shot and killed while in the line of duty.
Deputy Willis was gunned down back on July 28, 2010 while responding to a domestic violence call. The gunman then turned the gun on himself.
Some friends of Willis say they will be releasing balloons in the air in his honor at 7 p.m. at the new sports complex in Snow Hill. They say anyone is invited to attend.
